HR Cadet and RTP Pilot Recruiting Coordinator
 
Department: Human Resources, Pilot Recruiting
Location: Charlotte, NC
Reports to: Director, Pilot Recruiting 
 
Summary/Objective:  The HR Cadet and RTP Pilot Recruiting Coordinator will execute the onboarding logistics of the Cadet and Rotor Transition Program (RTP) Recruiting and will partner with all members of the Recruiting team to ensure a high touch candidate experience through the recruiting and interviewing process.

  • Functions as conduit to connect the Interview Process to the Hired Process for candidates.
  • Partners with Lead Cadet and RTP Recruiters, all HR Pilot Recruiters, and other Business Partners to ensure candidates have cleared all required regulations to participate in First Officer training.
  • Serves as secondary point of contact for candidate travel logistics.
  • Track and update candidate onboarding information through ATS and CRM systems.
  • Run reports to provide Recruiters and Executives metrics to perform analysis on recruiting performance.
  • Maintain communications and relationships with new hires to resolve any issues/questions throughout their onboarding process.
  • Responsive with candidates during interview and initial onboarding experience to create a high touch candidate experience.
  • Coordinates and participates candidate interviews as needed.
  • Travel when needed to recruiting events.
  • Supports implementation of recruiting system enhancements (SharePoint, CRM, Pilot Credentials, and other new resources).
  • Supports Pilot Recruiters by identifying potential candidates via external sites such as Pilot Credentials & LinkedIn.
  • Supports overall hiring process changes and implementations, updates recruiting process and tracking documents where needed.  
  • Coordinates invoice and payment tracking process for all associated candidates.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:  This is a full-time position with an expectation of occasional evening and weekend hours as job duties demand. 
 
Travel:  Travel is not generally required of this position; however, may be needed to support organization.
 
Required Education and Experience: 
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Recruiting application review, preferably in Pilot Recruiting or Aviation related.
  • Knowledge of or ability to learn and utilize applicant tracking systems, CRM tools, and virtual recruiting tools.
  • Ability to use or learn how to use online screening tools and technology to build efficiencies into the overall recruiting process.  
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office software:  Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
 
Additional Eligibility Qualifications:  1-2 years of recruiting experience, preferably application screening and tracking.
 
Security Clearance:  All employees are required to pass the fingerprint-based criminal history records check (CHRC) per 49CFR1542.209. 
 
Supervisory Responsibility:  This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
 
Work Environment:  This job operates in a professional office environment.  This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, telephones, photocopiers, facsimile machines and filing cabinets.
